TEKNATOOL SuperNOVA2 "PRO-TEK" Spannfutter-SET

New "PRO-TEK" version of the high-quality SuperNOVA2 chuck from TEKNATOOL.
With new 50 mm "PRO-TEK" pliers, suitable for lathes with direct spindle thread M33 x 3,5.

Consisting of:

• SuperNOVA2 chuck body with "PRO-TEK" coating and ASR (Euro) drain safety groove
• Collet 50 mm "PRO-TEK"
• Screw insert
• Reinforced one-handed clamping wrench
• 8 hexagon socket screws and T-handle wrench
• NOVA cleaning cloth

“PRO-TEK” stands for a high-quality, state-of-the-art coating for the word “Protection” (Protection).
Here are the details of the newly revised SN2 chuck:

• The chuck body of the new SuperNOVA2 “PRO-TEK” is protected by a high-quality coating that ensures a rust-resistant and durable surface. The chuck is therefore particularly suitable for turning wet wood.
• M33 x 3,5 connection (precise direct thread - no separate thread insert is required!) with ASR (Euro) drain safety groove.
• The jaws are closed intuitively in a clockwise direction (improved handling).
• The proven one-hand lever operation was retained.
• Precise jaw slides with very good sliding properties and high wear resistance. A safety stop prevents the jaw slides from protruding beyond the chuck body.
• New hexagon socket screws and a new T-handle wrench for fixing the pliers enable easier and faster assembly with higher torque.
• The new 50 mm “PRO-TEK” collet with dovetail on the outside and inside is also grooved on the inside for an optimal hold of the clamped workpiece.

This chuck fits all common lathes with M33 x 3,5 threads. Depending on the version of the lathe spindle, it can be secured on the spindle either with an ASR Euro drain locking ring (available as an option) or with the help of the grub screw provided!
